What is MEGA?
You may have heard the exciting news that The Melbourne Gaming Show (MEGA) is on!
An all-new committee of professionals who live and breathe tabletop games and modelling are on the case and delighted to be able to invite you to be part of this great and ongoing annual event.
We are very pleased to offer you the opportunity to showcase your group, run a tournament, a display, a participation or a demonstration game or even just have a space to have a game with friends at “MEGA 2024” for FREE!!!

MEGA 2024 is an all-inclusive event covering many aspects of the gaming and modelling community with a focus on tabletop games. The event will be held at Kensington Town Hall, 30-34 Bellair Street, Kensington Victoria 3031 on the 16th of November 2024 and will be open to the public from 9:30am to 6pm.
This year, we expect attendance numbers to skyrocket by not only having participation and demonstration games, but also adding games from other game genres, tournaments, re-enactment displays, tabletop role play, and live action role play groups, competitions, a bar and a Bring-and-Buy area too. This will significantly add to the appeal of the event and naturally the amount gamers, games, traders and participants attending.
Spaces are in multiples 3m x 3m approx. and you can have as many as you like (depending on availability), just process more “Demonstration Game, Displays or Tournaments” tickets. We do require a returnable $50 deposit per space which will be forfeit if you fail to attend or do not fill the spaces requested adequately. Each person from your group/tournament attending will also need to purchase a General Entry ticket online or on the day (online is much cheaper).
We do request you do not sell items from this space, please see traders’ tickets for that or use the MEGA 2024 Bring-and-Buy stand.
NB: Groups bringing sharp weapons, displaying military vehicles or live firearms will be required to provide insurance documents and source their own PPP.
A Participation Game must require public, non-group members, to play. Spaces are in multiples of 3m x 3m approx. and you can have as many as you like (depending on availability), just process more “Participation Game” tickets. Each person from your group/tournament attending will also need to purchase a General Entry ticket online or on the day (online is much cheaper). We do request you do not sell items from this space, please see traders’ tickets for that or use the MEGA 2024 Bring-and-Buy stand. This ticket allows you TWO free tables and 6 chairs. If you require extra you may bring your own or you may hire tables and chairs from the event.

What Else?
The event will be available for set up from Friday 15th Nov 2024 from 5:30pm to 7:30pm and Saturday 16th Nov 2024 from 7:30am to 9:00am. Event opens to the public at 9:30am and closes to the public at 06:00pm with the venue to be cleared by 07:30pm.
